Get ready, kiddies!  The blog will be getting steady updates soon as my congregation, Pleasant Valley Assembly of God, gets ready to begin our annual Daniel Fast.  I expect blessings, miracles and divine wisdom to flow as it did last year.  I will also be experimenting with new Daniel Fast recipes that I will post.  Of course, no Daniel fast would be complete without a huge vat of veggie broth so that will be hitting the stove Saturday night, January 4, as the fast begins Sunday, January 5.

This year will rely heavily on Asian dishes to supplement the Mediterranean ones I relied on last year, so this should be fun!  I’ll use tofu more, though no more than twice a week, since it has been linked to cancer.
