It has certainly been a long time since I updated my blog (close to a year), but here are the highlights. I am now a fully certified teacher and I enjoy it! I work at an alternative education school as the middle school teacher, which has its own special challenges, but I am ready for it. I love what I do, and I love the time it gives me with my boy.

Inspired by someone I am blessed to call my friend, Lois (check her blog: walkingonsunshinerecipes.blogspot.com), I will begin to post some of my household secrets. Mine will have a slight twist. I am a working Mr. Mom, meaning that due to my wife’s schedule, I am the parent/spouse primarily responsible for running the household. I know that I am not the only one out there, and so much of what’s out there is geared toward women, that I decided to start my own for men like me.

You can expect cleaning, parenting and cooking tips shortly from a male. I’m not sure how different it will be, but it will be FUBU (For Us By Us) so please men, write in your suggestions!
